料理上手なお父さんの伝統的なイギリス朝食はとても美味しくあっという間の完食。なかでも豚の血とオーツ麦とたっぷりハーブ入りのブラックプディングはとても食べやすくその後毎朝食べるほどに!
広い敷地内でフルーツ狩りを楽しみ、お母さんのプロ級の油絵があるアトリエ小屋やヒーリング小屋、お父さんの趣味小屋(man’s cave)など見どころ満載。ラッキーなことに間借りしている養蜂家のハチミツ収穫に立ち会えることができ、その場で一口ペロリ…さらりとしてお花の香りが強くめっちゃ美味しいっっ
午後にはのどかなアルセスター村でトム先生の母校を見たりスーパーでお土産を買ったり(ロンドンや空港はとても高いので地方のスーパーでの購入がベスト)街中で普通に乗馬している人々に遭遇!
締めにサンデーローストと言うこれまた伝統的なディナーで肉をオーブンで焼いたものにジャガイモやキュウリなどの根菜をつけあわせ、グレービーソースをかけていただいたうえにデザートとワイン(炭酸で割る⁈)でとても楽しい宴となりました。
Tom’s father is a great chef who has a very delicious traditional English breakfast. Especially the black pudding with pork blood, oats and plenty of herbs is very easy to eat and then eats it every morning!
There are huge yard where we enjoy fruit picking and mother’s atelier hut a healing hut, and a father's hobby hut (man's cave). Fortunately, I can see the honey harvest of a beekeeper and I took a bite on the spot... It was very delicious with a strong scent of flowers.
In the afternoon, we visited Tom's graduated school in the idyllic village of Arcester and bought souvenirs at the supermarket (London and the airport are very expensive, so it's best to buy at a local supermarket) and met people riding horses normally in the city!
In the end, we had called Sunday roast. This is also a traditional dinner where meat is baked in an oven with root vegetables such as potatoes and cucumbers, and dessert and wine (divided with carbon dioxide?!) And it was a very fun feast.
